Got No Ego is a metalcore band from Pavia. They released a debut EP in 2011 entitled "Where Is Your Light?", available at their live shows throughout Northern Italy.
After playing along with some of the most appreciated bands of the Italian core scene they won the Metal Hammer Contest for emerging bands in july 2012. They are now working on brand new tracks for their upcoming full lenght.
Got No Ego are: Silvio (voice), Gianluca (guitars and backing vocals), Andrew (guitars), Dave (bass guitar) and Mauri (drums).
The band formed in october 2010 and completed its line-up with the joining of Andrew, met thanks to Gianluca's side project. He subsequently left it in order to channel his energies for Got No Ego.
The band songs are a wise mix of powerful breakdowns, melodic guitar lines, screams, growls but also clean vocals.
The EP is gaining approvals from the audience and specialized magazines and webzines:
